Job Summary
Conduct outpatient hepatology and transplant care, manage MELD/waitlists, and oversee transplant oncology protocols. Perform endoscopy and colonoscopy within the call structure and rotate through full transplant call, including inpatient consult service. Collaborate with GI fellows, multidisciplinary teams, and 40+ inpatient APPs while participating in fellowship training and educational activities. Maintain Georgia medical license eligibility and DEA. Join a nationally ranked program averaging 20 transplants monthly with robust multidisciplinary infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Board Certified in Transplant Hepatology
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Transplant Hepatology Fellowship
- Eligible for Georgia medical license
- Eligible for DEA
- Must be available for full transplant call rotation
- Must be able to perform endoscopy and colonoscopy within call structure
