Job Summary
Hepatologist on a transplant team at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, practicing within a nationally recognized health system. The role involves contributing to a leading transplant program with collaboration across organ donor networks, regional outreach travel (one to two nights per month), and comprehensive care for liver disease within a gastroenterology framework. Requirements include MD or DO, U.S. ACGME Internal Medicine residency with Gastroenterology fellowship, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with Gastroenterology, an active Utah medical license (or ability to obtain), and successful credentialing. Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis. The position offers a starting base salary of $528,000 per year, a $50,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance up to $20,000, and a 40-hour work week with a generous benefits package and CME support.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- U.S. ACGME Residency training in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Gastroenterology
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine specializing in Gastroenterology
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
