Job Summary
Board-certified/eligible Transplant Hepatologist to join a 19-physician gastroenterology team in a large academic health system in Grand Rapids, MI. Hybrid role with 85% outpatient and 15% inpatient work; liver transplant pre- and post-transplant patient care; participation in weekly Transplant Selection Meetings; multidisciplinary support from IBD and Interventional Endoscopy programs; opportunities to mentor residents/students and contribute to a future fellowship program; salary package includes a $100k commencement/starting bonus, relocation assistance, comprehensive malpractice and health/dental/disability/life insurance, and paid time off including CME allowance and parental leave.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Transplant Hepatology
- MD/DO
- eligible for medical licensure in Michigan
- physician role in gastroenterology/hepatology
- experience with liver transplant patient care preferred
