Job Summary
Lead role coordinating activities for the transplant program's financial coordination team, ensuring coverage verification and insurance communication. Responsibilities include managing insurance aspects, billing payments, coordinating with Patient Billing Services and Professional Billing entities, serving as primary customer service contact for billing/registration/insurance issues, attending meetings with physicians/administration, maintaining knowledge of acceptable local plans and transplant language, and performing related duties as assigned. Requires at least three years of experience in insurance and authorizations, and a High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience. Hybrid work arrangement with a 40-hour weekly schedule; location near SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.
