Job Summary
Coordinate between patients, hospital staff, community physicians, and the transplant center while providing direct and indirect multi-problem nursing care for transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors under the direction of the Department Manager of the Renal Center and Renal Transplant Medical Director. Serve as the primary liaison to ensure seamless acquisition processes for kidney transplants. This role supports the Renal Center at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange, a Magnet status facility recognized for nursing excellence and comprehensive care programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of nursing
- Current enrollment in an accelerated program leading to a BSN or MSN degree
- California Registered Nurse License
- 1 year Nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Certification CCTC or CCTN through the American Board of Transplant Coordinators
- 1 year organ transplant or procurement experience
