Job Summary
Coordinate care for heart transplant and ventricular assist device (VAD) patients in an outpatient setting. Provide clinical and technical support for VADs and cardiac transplant care, including evaluation, implant management, post-follow-up, and clinical training. Collaborate with the program medical director and referring physicians, participate in care conferencing and the multidisciplinary transplant/VAD committee, facilitate patient care through procedures and ongoing education, and share 24-hour on-call responsibilities with evenings/weekends as available.
Required Qualifications
- Oregon Registered Nurse License
- 2 years VAD experience
