Job Summary

Develop and conduct translational research in blood and marrow transplantation, cellular immunotherapy, and novel cell-based therapies including CAR-T, NK, and gene treatments. Lead laboratory programs with dedicated space and core facilities to translate research into clinical applications for solid organ and hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation. Oversee graduate students, fellows, residents, and mid-level providers across laboratory, ambulatory, and inpatient activities within the FACT-accredited Transplant/Cell Therapy and Malignant Hematology Division. Collaborate with established basic and clinical scientists at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Children's Hospital to advance regenerative medicine in adults and children.

Required Qualifications

  • MD (or foreign equivalent)
  • completion of fellowships in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
  • Internal Medicine, Hematology, or Medical Oncology board eligible or certified
  • completion of fellowships in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology
  • Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, or Immunology board eligible or certified
  • California residency

Desired Qualifications

  • TCT fellowship
  • equivalent experience to TCT fellowship
