Transmissions and Utilities Project Manager

Job Summary
Manage projects through study, design, and construction phases of water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, stormwater pump stations, large diameter pipelines, and utility work. Serve as the primary client contact, advising them on project status and schedule while communicating with regulatory agencies, vendors, contractors, partner firms, and technical groups. Direct complex studies and investigations, select equipment, approve shop drawings, and coordinate work to meet time and budgetary constraints. Provide technical oversight for project staff including engineers, technicians, designers, drafters, and field representatives, reviewing progress to ensure continuity, conformity, and quality. Check calculations and seal drawings and reports while maintaining technical capabilities to utilize state-of-the-art technology. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering, 10+ years of experience with water pump stations and pipelines, and a Texas PE license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering
- 10+ years' experience with design of in water pump stations, wastewater lift stations, and large and small diameter pipelines
- Professional engineer (PE) license in Texas
