Job Summary
Consulting Utility Forester responsible for vegetation management for utility clients, with duties including contacting property owners and public agencies regarding pruning/removals, conducting tree and brush inventories, performing hazard tree inspections/evaluations, planning work for contractors, collecting field data (species, size, distance from conductors), validating data across databases, ensuring accurate reporting, and safeguarding workers and the public. The role requires a degree in forestry or related field, ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months, a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, ability to travel and work in rugged terrain and varying weather, and proficiency with GIS and Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications
- Degree in forestry or related field
- Experience in utility vegetation management
- Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months
