Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, test-drive vehicles, and use diagnostic tools to verify functionality. Replace worn components, execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications, and communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding additional service needs. Provide time estimates for repairs and collaborate effectively with the team. Requires 2+ years of Service Technician experience, B-level qualifications, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
- Ford Certification preferred
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
