Job Summary
Rebuild manual transmissions to company remanufacturing standards, inspect used parts for reusability, and utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Operate press machines, torches, power tools, and hand tools with precision while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace. Collaborate with a team of technicians to optimize workflow and meet production goals, conducting thorough quality inspections on finished products. Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and complete additional tasks as assigned. This role requires standing for 8+ hours, fine motor skills, and the ability to lift over 35 lbs. Weller Truck Parts trains associates with a "can do, ready to learn" mindset and offers an ESOP where associates own stock in the growing remanufacturing company.
