Job Summary
Transmission Project Manager needed to help establish and grow a new Nebraska office. Responsible for the conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines, material procurement, and construction support through line energization. Oversees project scope, budgeting, scheduling, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of transmission line projects; manages and mentors a project team of engineers, designers, drafters, and support staff; coordinates with subject-matter groups to ensure successful delivery; serves as primary client/interface with project stakeholders; applies ECI quality control procedures to achieve best-in-class execution; occasional travel; requires collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines and potential PE license and PMP certification as preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years' project engineering experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organization and planning skills
- commitment to quality and accuracy
- willingness and ability to meet fast-paced project schedules
- advanced knowledge of transmission engineering principals, and familiarity with applicable codes, standards and design tools
