Job Summary
Transmission Project Manager to help establish a new Nebraska office. Responsible for the conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of transmission lines, material procurement, and construction support through line energization. Oversees project teams of engineers, designers, drafters, and support staff; manages scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of transmission projects; coordinates with subsystems (Substation Engineering, Transmission Studies, Civil, Environmental, Surveying, ROW, etc.); serves as primary interface with clients and stakeholders; provides technical mentorship and training; occasional travel required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years' project engineering experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organization and planning skills
- commitment to quality and accuracy
- willingness and ability to meet fast-paced project schedules
- PE license and PMP certification preferred
- advanced knowledge of transmission engineering principles
- ability to direct and oversee multiple technical disciplines
- travel willingness (occasional)
