Job Summary
Transmission Project Engineer in Nebraska offices (Columbus, Omaha, or Lincoln). Responsibilities include the conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines, material procurement and construction support through line energization. Lead/design team under Senior Engineer/PM to develop design calculations, detail drawings, specifications, staking sheets, sag charts and other construction exhibits; develop project scope documents; perform finite element design modeling using PLS-CADD; prepare materials and construction specifications; support project management, client coordination, and mentoring of design staff. Requires a BS or MS in Civil Engineering with 6+ years’ experience; PE license preferred; occasional travel; visa sponsorship not required; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years of project and design engineering experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills

- ability to work in a team environment
- commitment to quality and accuracy
- willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules
- PE license preferred
- subject to client-mandated drug and background checks
- occasional travel/driving required
