Job Summary
Transmission Project Engineer responsible for the conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines in Nebraska. Leads design calculations, material procurement support, and construction documentation (PLS-CADD modeling, structure and foundation design, staking sheets, sag charts, plan & profile drawings, and construction exhibits) under senior guidance, while coordinating with clients and project staff. Requires a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, 6+ years of project/design experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel; PE license preferred. This role supports a new Nebraska office startup and involves mentoring design staff, overseeing project teams, and ensuring design quality and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years' project and design engineering experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills

- ability to work in a team environment
- commitment to quality and accuracy
- willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules
- PE license preferred
- subject to client-mandated drug and background checking
- occasional travel/driving required
