Transmission Production Supervisor - Line A

Job Summary
Lead production activities within assigned transmission remanufacturing stations by actively participating in all production communication channels and conducting daily start-of-shift standup meetings. Maintain station organization, cleanliness, and safety culture while ensuring operators wear necessary personal protective equipment. Perform weekly audits of production jobs and serialized component materials in Syteline, monitor throughput, and respond quickly to shortages through labor rebalancing and escalation. Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Management to support root cause analysis, ensure machine uptime, and meet KPIs for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Coach operators, write evaluations, submit disciplinary documentation, and ensure all employees remain current on training and work instructions.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience leading a team of at least 5 people at ETE
- 3 years of experience required if external to ETE
- Demonstrated ability to lead under fast-paced, high-pressure scenarios in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools (such as 5S, continuous improvement, etc.)
- Ability to use UKG (or other Human Resources Information System) platform
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook/Calendar, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in ERP (Syteline ERP preferred) systems, including ability to solve problems for regularly occurring issues, such as issues with job operations or inventory
- Ability to read, understand, and train employees on work instructions, specifications, parts lists, and quality alerts
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8+ hours per day
- General ability to use tools and other instruments
- High-School diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
