Transmission Planning Engineer (Expert - Principal Level) responsible for performing power system modeling and analysis, developing transmission solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and significant experience in power systems and transmission planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Six (6) Years of experience (four (4) years with a PE License or MSEE degree) in Power Systems with at least three (3) years in Transmission Planning
- Eight (8) Years of experience (six (6) years with a PE License or MSEE degree) in Power Systems with at least four (4) years in Transmission Planning
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive engineering experience (with eight (8) with a PE license or MSEE degree) in an electric power system environment with at least six (6) years in Transmission Planning
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a NERC CIP personnel risk assessment screening
