Job Summary
Transmission Network Expert responsible for planning, managing, and maintaining core transmission networks at national and international levels, with emphasis on high-quality, high-speed optical services and DWDM networks. Role requires collaborating with international partners, coordinating with internal and external teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, a college degree in a technical field, and fluency in English. The position offers flexible working hours with the possibility to work outside the office at least one day per week and is based in Zagreb, Croatia with hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a role with similar responsibilities
- Knowledge and experience with protocols and devices for synchronizing (phase/frequency/NTP) telecommunications networks
- Practical experience with DWDM devices and networks, including management systems (fault and configuration management)
- Experience working with major clients and equipment manufacturers, as well as coordinating with internal and external teams
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- A college degree in telecommunications, information technology, or another relevant technical field
- Fluency in spoken and written English
