Job Summary
Project Manager for transmission initiatives based in Winnipeg, MB, with up to 75% travel and on-site requirements across Canada. Leads cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver transmission projects on schedule and within budget, develops procurement plans, negotiates with suppliers and subcontractors, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, and reports financials and performance to senior leadership. Requires 10+ years of transmission project experience, hands-on experience with high-voltage projects up to 500 kV, and strong leadership in procurement, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. PMP designation is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing transmission-related projects
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage transmission projects up to 500 kV
- Proven ability to standardize processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Exposure to or involvement in business development activities
