Job Summary
Lead and execute engineering for high-voltage transmission projects up to 765kV, including initial layout, schedule creation, and weekly status meetings. Coordinate with clients on project status, manage multi-disciplinary workflows, and forecast resource requirements while adhering to QA/QC procedures. Support the Project Manager with scope, schedule, and budget development, and lead project teams of varying sizes. Travel to client offices, field sites, and vendor facilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 7-10 years' experience in the transmission field of designing/managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure
- Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation
- Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills
- Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
- Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities, as needed

- MBA degree from an accredited university
- Involvement in technical societies (IEEE, CIGRE, ASCE...)
- Experience using ArcGIS, AutoCAD/MicroStation, Foundation Design Software (FAD Tools, SHAFT, LPILE)
- POLE and TOWER experience
