Job Summary
Lead and execute engineering for high-voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765kV, including initial layout, schedule creation, and weekly project meetings. Coordinate with clients on status updates, manage multi-disciplinary workflows, and forecast resource requirements to support project development. Facilitate adherence to QA/QC procedures and WSP's Code of Conduct while leading project teams and supporting the Project Manager with scope, budget, and variance analysis. Travel to client offices and field facilities as needed. Join WSP's Power Delivery Team in the Northeast region, contributing to impactful projects that solve complex engineering challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 7-10 years' experience in the transmission field of designing/managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure
- Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95
- Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation
- Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills
- Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
- Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities, as needed

- Involvement in technical societies (IEEE, CIGRE, ASCE...)
- Experience using ArcGIS, AutoCAD/MicroStation, Foundation Design Software (FAD Tools, SHAFT, LPILE)
- POLE and TOWER experience
