Transmission Line - Project Engineer

Job Summary
Direct transmission line design projects by leading teams through structure loading, staking, assembly drawings, and cost estimation while ensuring quality and client requirements are met. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments and geographies to drive project execution and support business objectives. Challenge the status quo by exploring innovative solutions and continuously seeking improvements to enhance efficiency. Lead client interactions from office or field environments to answer technical questions and mitigate negative impacts. Utilize PLS-CADD modeling and NESC standards to develop, review, and evaluate design alternatives for complex constructability challenges.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent Engineering BS degree
- Preference to Power specific programs
- Professional Engineer License
- 5+ years of experience in overhead transmission line design and engineering
- Line and Structure spotting
- Route Selection
- Structure design and analysis
- Experience leading multidisplinary teams to complete transmission line projects
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD design software
- Proficiency in the NESC
- Ability to Travel occasionally
- Hold a Passport
