Job Summary
Install, operate, and maintain the electric transmission system using wood, steel, and lattice towers up to 200 feet. Erect poles, climb structures, and attach crossarms, insulators, and conductors up to 500 kV. Operate heavy cranes to transport and position materials for transmission line construction and maintenance projects. Conduct pre-operation inspections on cranes, coordinate load/unload operations with ground crews, and maintain accurate daily logs. Work in varied terrain and weather conditions, including temperatures up to 110°F and night shifts.
