Conduct translations from Italian to Polish for Life Sciences clients, covering pharma, personal care, and machinery sectors. Process regulatory leaflets, marketing materials, and technical manuals while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to project-driven schedules with flexible hours. Utilize SDL Studio CAT tools to ensure high-quality output, demonstrating strong analytical skills and a passion for languages to convey nuanced messages effectively. This freelance role supports STAR7's global linguistic teams in expanding clients' markets through expert localization services.
Required Qualifications
- Native in Polish
- Degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation or equivalent experience
- Up-to-date with language and terminology trends
- Obsessed by the detail, quality-driven and has a passion for languages
- Familiarity with the target language and culture to best convey message of the source text
- Comfortable with technology
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving and communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken source language to truly understand the meaning and translate as if it were originally written in target language
- Understanding and attitude to work within a confidential environment
- Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Good availability and quick response times
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience as a translator specialized in translation and proofreading of the required field (Main: Pharma, Personal care, Machinery. Secondary: Wine, Perfumery)
- Experience of CAT tools – mainly SDL Studio
