Job Summary
Translate documents, presentations, and communications between English and Mandarin, ensuring accuracy and consistency while assisting in the localization of game content and marketing materials. Interpret services during meetings as needed and collaborate with the CEO and team members to facilitate effective cross-cultural communication. Review and edit translated materials for quality assurance, managing daily administrative tasks with a proactive approach. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required, along with experience supporting C-level executives and comfort with occasional travel. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, with benefits including comprehensive health insurance, 401(k), and generous PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Translator or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and cultural sensitivity
- Experience supporting C-level executives
- Comfortable with occasional travel to support the CEO's business needs
