Job Summary
Translate technical, legal, and medical documents and provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between English and Spanish to support the District's special education program. Perform these duties under the supervision of the Senior Director of Special Education. Maintain a 40-hour work week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the District Office in Encinitas, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Two years of translation and interpretation experience
- Valid California driver license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
- A professional certificate of translation skills from an accredited institution or program
