Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. Maintain basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications and adhere to the New Hire BSN Agreement policy for new hires after 2012. Hold a FL Registered Nurse License, BLS certification, and ACLS certification as preferred. Complete background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program
- Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN)
- basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- FL Registered Nurse License
- undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
