Transitions Coordinator (Operations Specilaist)

Job Summary
Oversee the transition for newly acquired and managed stores by coordinating onboarding timelines, ordering supplies, and tracking equipment delivery. Maintain excellent communication with internal departments and external partners to resolve onboarding challenges from business development through successful handoff to Operations. Prioritize and manage partner and site requests related to transition-related issues while developing processes to analyze site performance post-transition. Represent Extra Space professionally to partners, employees, and vendors while maintaining accurate systems and process integrity. Drive projects to completion with strong attention to detail and the ability to creatively find alternative solutions to issues that arise.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers using strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Thorough knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, and other business systems, with the ability to utilize technology to improve efficiency, manage projects, and support cross-functional operations
- Ability to challenge, think critically about existing processes, and proactively develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Demonstrable ability to organize work for multiple transitions and departments and prioritize effectively
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Process and detail oriented; problem solving attitude
- Strong customer service skills and awareness
- Ability to drive a project to completion
