Transitional Living Specialist- PRN

Maintain a healthy environment in a group setting for youth to meet individual goals while providing supervision to foster care and homeless youth. Assist youth with self-esteem, independent living skills, and life skills including cooking, shopping, transportation, and budgeting. Offer para-counseling in crisis or non-crisis situations and intervene by contacting emergency services when necessary. Observe behavior, conduct reports, and maintain financial records for monthly audits. Plan meals, manage household supplies, arrange medical appointments, and coordinate with therapists and legal guardians to implement treatment plans. Keep the house, yard, and vehicle clean and orderly. Ensure youth have proper clothing and support their school work. Maintain financial records and present them to the TLP Group Home Supervisor for monthly audit. Purchase items for the house including food, supplies, etc. Keep the house, yard and vehicle in a clean and orderly condition and see it is kept in good repair. Make sure youth have proper clothing attire, plan menus and prepare meals. Arrange for medical, dental and similar services and transport youth to various appointments. Coordinate with the professional staff including therapist, psychiatrist, legal guardian, and others to implement and monitor the treatment plan.
