Transitional Living Monitor

Job Summary
Conduct weekly site inspections at Transitional Living Properties to verify compliance with House Rules and DOC terms, including monitoring property limits, household maintenance, and the absence of contraband. Maintain household supplies, ensure food availability, and create electronic reports documenting observations, incident reports, and daily resident interaction summaries. Meet with the Transitional Living Director to report on ongoing operations and hold accountability for resident supervision and discharge procedures. Perform a total of 21 site checks per week with face-to-face contact, maintaining thorough knowledge of residents' criminal and mental health histories.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) years' experience working with correctional clients
- Experience responding to/redirecting negative behaviors using Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques
- Completed Provider's Boundaries and Professionalism training course
- A Criminal Background Check
- Not currently under supervision with the Department of Corrections
- Ability to set client/staff boundaries
- Ability to work cooperatively with other employees
