Job Summary

Provide trauma-informed comprehensive services to transitional housing families, developing individualized housing and service plans that chart a path to permanent housing stability. Monitor participant progress, serve as the primary contact for housing assistance, and troubleshoot technical housing issues with staff, advocates, and victims. Deliver ongoing risk assessments and safety planning while transporting victims to appointments for medical, legal, law enforcement, and court needs. Prepare monthly through annual reports, attend housing-related conferences, and create culturally appropriate educational materials for community partners and schools. Submit to a background investigation, maintain a valid driver's license, and be willing to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or other closely related field from an accredited college or university
  • three (3) years of case management, working with victims of crime, and public speaking/educational experience
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Willingness to learn and incorporate skills in the cultural context of the Meskwaki Community
  • Must submit to and successfully complete a background investigation
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and positive interpersonal relationship skills
  • Must be willing to be on call evenings and weekends
  • Must be willing to travel as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in grant writing and reporting is desirable
