Job Summary
Monitor transitional housing programs and providers to ensure compliance with contract elements, acceptance guidelines, and funding obligations. Manage referrals for accuracy and appropriateness while maintaining accurate records and reports. Coordinate with housing staff to meet goals for immediate and long-term housing plans, providing technical support and training to staff and providers. Build relationships with referral sources including healthcare programs, county agencies, and state facilities to enhance collaboration with community partners. Implement streamlined administrative processes and best practices in referral and documentation. Travel between offices and meet with members, providers, and stakeholders as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three years in Human Services, and two years in housing experience. Full-time hybrid role with onsite meetings and travel throughout the catchment area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three (3) years of experience in Human Services
- Two (2) years of experience in housing
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Highly effective communication ability
- Propensity to make prompt independent decisions based upon relevant facts
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of homeless system and housing principles, guidelines, laws and concepts
- Knowledge of housing market trends
- Knowledge of all guidelines and regulations in the Americans with Disability Act
- Satisfactory background check
- MVR (Motor Vehicle Registration) check
