Job Summary
Develop and execute leasing strategies to stabilize occupancy and improve conversion velocity across approximately 21 properties in Austin, Texas. Analyze marketing performance and traffic data to identify operational bottlenecks, then implement corrective actions to keep lease-ups on schedule. Serve as the primary liaison between Property Management and Compliance, managing income qualification reviews, file completeness, and program requirements while ensuring adherence to Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA regulations. Provide hands-on coaching to onsite leasing staff, establish standardized workflows, and mentor teams to build sustainable operational strength. Conduct competitor shops, maintain five comparable community profiles per site, and coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, and Marketing to drive measurable results.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of affordable property management experience
- Demonstrated experience with lease-ups or stabilized affordable portfolios
- Strong understanding of compliance programs (LIHTC, HUD, or similar preferred)
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience training and supporting onsite teams
- Proficiency with property management software and compliance platforms
