Job Summary
Paraprofessional in a Transition Program supporting students with special education needs. Requires knowledge of child development, behavioral management, and age-appropriate instructional techniques; operating knowledge of adaptive equipment (e.g., electric wheelchair, dynavox, braces, lifts). Hours are 7.5 per day, Monday through Friday. Salary range is $20.40-$23.36 per hour, with full-time benefits offered by Cheyenne Mountain School District. Starting date is 8/17/2026 at Cheyenne Mountain High School.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 48 college credit hours or have the ability to become ACT Workkeys certified
- Criminal background check is required for hire
