Transition Program Manager (AEC)

Job Summary
Lead planning and delivery of transition to operations for the Indigo Program within the Australian Electoral Commission, ensuring operational readiness, service acceptance, knowledge transfer and handover. Manage cross-organisational transition activities across business, ICT, program and support teams in an Agile delivery environment; establish governance, assurance, readiness assessments and executive reporting; coordinate risk, issues and dependencies; develop governance papers and decision-support materials for senior leadership; coordinate handover activities including training, service levels and ownership arrangements. Requires experience in large-scale government transformation, Transition to Operations, and security clearance (Baseline with eligibility for NV1); strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Offices located in Canberra with in-person remote option.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business Management, Public Administration, Service Management or related disciplines
- Agile and/or Scrum certifications
- Security clearance: Must hold an active Baseline Clearance before commencement and be eligible for NV1
- Experience delivering within large-scale government transformation or modernisation programs
- Experience leading Transition to Operations (TTO), service readiness and operational handover activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and executive reporting skills
