Job Summary
Transition Management Engineering Lead (VP) for State Street Investment Management. Lead the end-to-end TM technology platform, including execution, workflow orchestration, and post-trade processes, with a focus on cloud-native modernization, API-first architecture, and automated production operations. Own platform roadmap, drive observability and automation to minimize incidents, and deliver high-performance TM capabilities across multi-asset workflows (Equity, Fixed Income, FX, derivatives). Partner with business stakeholders to improve execution efficiency, cost transparency, and client outcomes; mentor a global engineering and analytics team; establish KPIs and reporting to senior leadership; manage vendor relationships and ensure integration performance. Preferred MBA, MS, CFA, or equivalent; 12+ years in front-office tech/trading platforms; strong leadership in platform reliability, scalability, and operational risk reduction; experience with observability, SRE, data platforms, analytics, and automation frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in front-office technology and trading platforms
- Proven leadership in mission-critical platform engineering and operations within asset management or investment banking
- Strong understanding of trading workflows and execution processes
- Experience driving platform reliability, scalability, and operational risk reduction
- Expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead global teams and cross-functional delivery
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS, CFA, or equivalent)
