Job Summary
Administrative support for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) at the Military & Family Readiness Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Responsibilities include scheduling TAP courses and workshops, coordinating calendars across staff and participants, accurate data entry and record-keeping, front-desk customer service for service members and families, drafting and managing professional correspondence and spreadsheets, setting up and managing virtual classroom environments via Microsoft Teams for in-person and remote delivery, monitoring participant progress with tracking systems, and performing mission-essential duties remotely during base closures or emergencies. Requires experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments and familiarity with military installation procedures and base culture.
Required Qualifications
- Prior administrative experience in a military, federal government, or equivalent corporate environment
- Familiarity with the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) or other military family support programs
- Experience supporting scheduling or data management in a high-volume, customer-facing setting
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment serving a diverse population of active-duty service members and their families
- Prior experience on or around a military installation, with working knowledge of installation access procedures and base culture
