Job Summary
Lead the Transit/Rail Department in the Pacific Northwest by acting as an external leader, building a high-performing team, and driving business development and project delivery. Support growth and sales of Transit-Rail Services while managing P&L, leading contractual negotiations, and ensuring technical excellence and safety. Demonstrate relentless customer focus by developing meaningful relationships and adding value to client needs. Work closely with operations on staffing, recruiting, and retention to help build a thriving culture promoting equity, diversity, inclusion, and innovation. Think strategically while driving financial execution and maintaining a visible profile in the region.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS
- 12+ years of related experience
- demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education
- 4 years of leadership experience
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Civil Engineer in Washington
- BS Civil Engineering
- demonstrated leadership and managing large teams of people with prior P&L experience
- Ability to scope/estimate complex projects
- Track and manage task budgets and schedule experience
- Ability to build broad and deep internal and external networks, and capable of communicating to inspire and lead others
- Ability to teach and mentor technical staff by demonstrated knowledge of relevant technical skills and tools
- Team-oriented individual with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate clearly and simply to clients, leadership, and technical staff
- Ability to balance various responsibilities and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and quality
