Seeking a Part-Time Weekend Dispatcher to support Transit Operations by performing dispatching, intake functions, and trip eligibility in a high-volume environment. Duties include managing transportation requests, assisting drivers, documenting complaints, and ensuring timely passenger pickups. The ideal candidate should have geographical knowledge of Oswego County, possess clerical and arithmetic skills, and be able to handle high-stress situations while maintaining professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Three years experience in passenger transportation
- Experience dispatching/reservations
- Valid NYS Driver’s License and vehicle insurance
Additional Requirements
- Must meet Drug and Alcohol Policy
- Must attend meetings and trainings as requested
- Must complete annual training requirements
