Transformer Designer HVDC Simulations Expert

Lead electrical design of large power transformers for HVAC and HVDC applications up to 800 kV, performing short circuit, lightning impulse, thermal and related design calculations; contribute to detailed transformer design and advise the Drawing Office on best practices; employ 3D/2D FEA, thermal and electromagnetic analyses to support design decisions; collaborate with Transformer Manufacturing to resolve issues and develop best practices; support tender and contract design projects while balancing performance, cost, and schedule; represent GE Vernova in technical reviews with customers and internal teams; contribute to product improvement and cost-out initiatives that strengthen competitiveness.
