Job Summary
UX Engineer / UI/UX Developer Trainee to support development and prototyping of digital services for the Singapore Public Service. Responsibilities include prototyping, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new digital solutions; collaborate with DTO officers and stakeholders to iterate designs; map user journeys and business workflows; contribute to UAT/QA, track defects, and refine solutions; experiment with AI tools and automation to enhance DTO offerings and engage residents; participate in real-world prototypes, digital service trials, and business process reengineering activities. Requirements include basic front-end development (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, ReactJS/Vue) or familiarity with low-code platforms (PowerApps, UI Path); experience with UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Miro); understanding of UI/UX design principles; strong collaboration and communication skills; learning mindset to develop technical and business analysis skills in the public sector context.Location: PAS-Peoples Association Headquarters, Singapore.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Interactive Media, Design-related fields
