Job Summary
Transformation Engagement Director leads large-scale organizational transformations and motivates cross-functional teams to deliver transformational programs within timelines and budgets. Partners with senior leadership to define vision, strategy, and execution plans; leverages expertise in strategic planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and change enablement. Coaches and mentors program managers and senior leaders; implements change management strategies; ensures risk identified and controlled; aligns work with OKRs and VMF, and drives user adoption while minimizing risk. Requires ability to coach matrixed teams, negotiate agreements, communicate with senior management, and develop executive-level presentations. Must have 8+ years in related roles, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent 12-year experience without degree), and experience in Life Insurance/annuities product domains; salary range $143,320–$273,930; location options include offices in San Antonio, Plano, Colorado Springs, and Tampa with in-office requirements and no relocation assistance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience (Total of 12 years of experience without bachelor’s degree)
- 8 years of experience in project/program management and/or organizational change management
- Strong Knowledge of Project/Program Management Principles (PMBOK, Agile, Scrum)
- Experience Leading Change Initiatives (change management strategies, communication plans, training, resistance management)
- Experience in Risk Management (identification, assessment, mitigation)
- Engagement management and transformation consulting experience
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels (including executives)
- Experience developing executive-level presentations and process documentation
- Directly related business planning consulting experience (short-term/long-term goals)
- Experience supporting senior level executives and managing executive-level communications
- Military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner
- Program or project management experience in Life Insurance, Medicare Supplement, or Annuities
- Ability to influence and navigate in fast-paced environments
- Experience with governance/oversight roles
- Ability to develop strategies for short-term and long-term goals
- Experience working with clients to realize business issues and direction
