Job Summary
Lead and manage project assurance and advisory engagements across diverse transformation projects, delivering high-quality analysis of risks through written deliverables including reports, memos, and executive board papers. Review critical project artefacts, identify root causes of potential detours, and oversee formal reporting with recommended solutions. Conduct fieldwork interviews, lead client meetings, and present key findings to senior executives and board members. Support business development to win new work, develop junior staff capabilities, and create industry insights for clients. Apply advanced project management methodologies to guide clients through complex transformation initiatives across Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in project or risk management
- Experience working with senior stakeholders (e.g. Executives)
- Work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Build and maintain relationships across the industry to support business development, with experience preparing proposals or responses to tenders from clients
- Advanced understanding of project management methodologies
- Comfortable leading project, program and portfolio reviews
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability and experience with effectively engaging with clients and team members
- Experience in Financial Services/Banking, Consumer Industries, or major ERP (technology implementation) programs
- Consulting experience
- Relevant project management certifications (e.g., Prince2, Agile, Prosci Change Management)
