Job Summary
Monitor and ensure ongoing adherence to BBBEE legislation, codes, and sector-specific requirements while conducting regular internal audits to assess compliance and identify improvement areas. Prepare and submit BBBEE compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required and collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement transformation strategies aligned with organizational goals. Collect, analyse, and interpret data on employment equity, ownership, skills development, and enterprise development to inform decision-making and produce comprehensive reports for stakeholders. Work with internal teams and external bodies to integrate transformation objectives into business processes, promote awareness across the organization, and maintain accurate personnel and training records. This 12-month fixed-term contract is based in Cape Town for a Transformation Analyst supporting Maersk's BBBEE agenda.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in BBBEE compliance, transformation, Employment Equity, HR Compliance or a related role
- Experience supporting BBBEE verification audits and scorecard management
- Experience within a multinational or matrix organisation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Data interpretation, dashboard reporting and trend analysis
- Audit preparation and document management
- Report writing and presentation development
- Excellent planning, organisation and administrative skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
