Job Summary
Conduct complete pre and post operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure equipment safety, then operate the heavy truck along designated routes to transfer large containers from the station to the landfill. Monitor materials for unacceptable waste, clean spill areas, and maintain vehicle readiness to minimize downtime. Interact politely with customers and dispatchers while servicing routes identified on the route sheet. Requires a valid Class A CDL, two years of commercial driving experience, and the physical ability to handle objects over 50lbs. Includes a hiring bonus and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks
- Physical ability to handle objects more than 50lbs
- Ability to work under many different weather conditions
