Transfer Station Operator I

Transfer Station Operator I operates equipment to transfer solid waste for disposal or recycling, assists Transfer Station Operator 2 with loading and compacting operations, inspects equipment, processes materials for transfer or recycling, assists customers, and enforces safety regulations. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Ohio driver’s license, the ability to interpret varied instructions, basic arithmetic, and the ability to work as part of a team. The position involves duties such as grounds and facility maintenance and adherence to OSHA safety standards, with regular daytime hours and a compensation range of $18.00–$19.00 per hour.
