Job Summary
Transfer Specialist responsible for the care, removal, and transport of deceased, safely driving company vehicles to perform first-call transfers in compliance with laws and company policies. Role requires handling chain-of-custody documentation, interacting with families with sensitivity, assisting with loading/transferring caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes, performing vehicle maintenance, operating proprietary software, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Must maintain professional appearance when contacting families and adapt to varied shifts including weekends and on-call coverage; ability to work in hazardous conditions and travel locally.
Required Qualifications
- Education High School Diploma or equivalent
- Licenses Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience At least one (1) year work experience as a courier, driver; with direct customer interaction strongly preferred
