Job Summary
Transfer Specialist (part-time) responsible for the care, removal, and transport of deceased; safely drives company-owned professional vehicles for first-call transfers; maintains chain-of-custody and complete paperwork; interacts with bereaved families in a compassionate, professional manner; performs vehicle maintenance and cleaning; uses proprietary software to enter transfer information; transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes; adheres to safety guidelines and spends time on vehicle inspection and maintenance; requires ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, and to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
