Transfer Specialist (part-time)

Drive company vehicles to perform first-call transfers of deceased in accordance with local laws and company policies. Safely transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes while maintaining chain-of-custody, paperwork, and identification protocols. Collaborate with first responders, coroners, hospital staff, and senior living facilities to accommodate their processes. For home transfers, courteously interact with bereaved families, exhibit sensitivity to the environment, and minimize conversation. Enter deceased event information into proprietary software and follow procedures for transferring soiled garments and bedding. Maintain company vehicles by washing, vacuuming, and cleaning them, then fuel as necessary. Identify engine or operating issues to management for repair or inspection. This part-time role requires weekend, night, and holiday on-call rotation with work beyond standard hours. Candidates must possess a current driver's license, at least one year of courier or driver experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
