Transfer Pricing Manager

Job Summary
Own transfer pricing matters for the Education segment by designing policies, optimizing structures for digital models, and preparing documentation under OECD guidelines. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, managing complex intercompany transactions and coordinating audits with tax authorities. Monitor international developments to translate regulatory changes into actionable recommendations and lead cross-functional projects on digitalization initiatives. Support and mentor junior team members while enhancing governance structures. This hybrid role in Berlin reports to the Global Head of Transfer Pricing within Springer Nature, a leading research publisher.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Finance or a related field
- Demonstrable years of relevant transfer pricing experience
- Strong expertise in OECD transfer pricing principles and international tax frameworks
- Experience with digital, IP-based or platform-driven business models
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and interact with senior stakeholders
- Experience in handling tax audits and working with external advisors
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Pragmatic mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence in an international environment
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with SAP and data/TP tools
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally within a multinational group or advisory environment
- German is highly desirable
